On 17 May we left our car at OR Tambo in allocated parking section Shade Cloth 1, away for two days. Upon parking we saw a luggage trolley placed to block one of the boom gate exits and said we hope it is fixed upon our return. We arrived back in Joburg on Sunday afternoon and went to the pay station to pay for our ticket. Please note we used the pay station on the LEFT out of the 2 available. We put in our ticket and the amount came to R211.00 We inserted two R100 notes a R10 note and a R1 coin. After having inserted the right amount is still said on the screen we were R1 short and so we put in a further R5 in R1 coins to no avail. The machine had swallowed an extra R5 of ours and not given us our ticket. We pushed help and only after 5mins of waiting was the call answered. The woman said the machine wasnt working we must use the other one but there was no sign indicating faulty machine. She said we would be refunded all we put in and good bye. Well we only got R90 back from the machine and no further help assistance as the help call was never answered again. We paid R337 in total. Then we were delayed 20mins before the boom would work to let a queue of 7 cars out. Unacceptable!
