I recently travelled on a BA flight between Cape Town and Johannesburg. On arriving at ORT, my bag was broken at the top right. I was so disgusted as I first had to make sure nothing was taken from my luggage. I then contacted BA to submit a claim. After all of the rigmarole, I was told that since I didn't submit the claim within 7 days of the incident, they can't help me. How great is that for customer support! It is just unacceptable!
It is time that service providers own up to customers, since we are treated very badly when it comes to issues such as these. I am not bothered by international regulations or whatever excuse is being dished up, not to take responsibility for damages incurred to a cleint.
Sorry BA, this is just NOT FAIR!!
