Long story cut short - i have had absolutely enough of Vodacom. Been a customer for many years and glad to finally say "Bon Voyage" im out of here!!!

Busy cancelling the contract for my wife and myslef. for a number of reasons. The consultant i spoke to on the 27th of April emailed me the cancellation Quote which had one digit missing from each of the quote reference numbers. "I suspect that they assume if the make it a total nightmare to cancel, that a large portion of customer's will quit trying to cancel and just keep the contract!!! Which by the way, VODACOM seems to charge the highest cancellation FEES ever and doesnt really care about the CPA at all.

So after struggling with the bank to make the EFT i finally decide to call Vodacom and the consultant tells me that its one digit short. I take it with a pinch of salt. pay the 75% cancellation fee and email all required docs to cancellations. an hour later call them to try and process it, and i get the usual call centre BULL.

You cant speak to the manager coz we dont have one. Only team leaders. We can escalate your case but cant guarantee it will be done today. Turn around is 24hrs. ETC ETC ETC. GOODBYE VODACOM!!!
