I have an 8ta contract and my contract was coming to an end so they called me for an upgrade which I gladly agreed. my instalment is around R176 but to my surprise, the debit order for this month went off for R789. A difference of R613 I did not budget for this month. I called the contact center and I was told that they thought I did a migration instead of an upgrade. According to them, I am suppose to pay a migration fee as they thought I did a migration instead of an upgrade. The lady whom I spoke to at the contact center then said a reference number was going to be sent to me regarding the issue but I never received any reference number. I called again 2 days later and could not get much clarity from another consultant as well. Somebody's incompetence is going to cost me because the rest of my debit orders are going off on the 2nd since the 1st is a public holiday. I want this matter resolved by 30 April otherwise some of my debit orders will bounce and this could ruin my credit record. Please help.
