Absolutely terrible service

Been with Mweb ADSL since they started. However, in the past 6 months, their ADSL has become so poor it's virtually unusable. So I decided to cancel...

First they do not have a CANCEL ACCOUNT button in one's control panel like everyone else does. They hide this information so deep in their website it took me days to find. Then you have to call them and "REQUEST" they kindly send one the documents (in "Word" format).

Anyway, once one gets this document, it explains what to do. Se we did everything "by the book".

TWO full days later we get an email saying we cannot cancel unless they send them a copy of ID. NOWHERE is that stated in the cancellation document!

So now we have to send everything over again.

Bottom line is Mweb makes it almost impossible to get out of the contact (full calendar month notice) whereas every other ADSL provider I've tried, make it real easy and simple and it's immediate.

I'll follow up in a month to report back as to whether they stopped their debit order on my Bank account or not.
