Where do I begin? I have two Telkom lines (one for main house and one for cottage) with Telkom both enjoying ADSL and Data Bundle. We decided to upgrage the cottage ADSL line to "Fastest" 4/10mbps with package increase of data bundle to 20GB. Almost immediately, I noticed that the main house had been upgraded but not the cottage. Decided to leave the main house as new fast speed and then tried to get the cottage up to same level. This failed dismally. Many fault reports later, all attended to efficiently and friendly, but unable to resolve problem, we decided to revert to the 2mbps speed and 10GB bundle. Kept checking the balance of data and noticed that it was never reduced to 10GB, we decided to cancel the ADSL, Data Bundle on the cottage line and merely keep the landline. This was done on 15/4/13 with requisite 30 days notice period. Today I noticed that the data bundle has been increased to 30GB! Why? Have now had to cancel that with a further requisite 30 day notice period! If we could get the cottage running at a similar speed to the main house we would keep it. The people I have dealt with are amazingly friendly but this is not helping to resolve the problem.
