3 weeks, no upgrade

It's now been 3 weeks since I embarked on the process of trying to upgrade with MTN. To date I have not received a single communication from my "service provider". Not one. Other than the platitudes they post on this site. I see from the very many other posts on this site that I'm not alone in receiving this non-existent service. Does MTN even exist any more? I'm starting to suspect they've gone under and just haven't told their customers.
