Contracts available for upgrades

Advertising an iPhone 5 contract deal for R399, 95 pm for 24 months available at Altech Autopage and Incredible Connection. Upon arriving at Vodaworld for this deal, I was informed that it is only for "NEW" contracts and not upgrades. Which can be acceptable, IF it is stated on the advertisement or anywhere in the brochure that it is only for "new" contracts. This special is until the 6th of May and I am eligible for an upgrade from the 1st of May.
