1 HOUR TO LODGE A QUERY- ABSOLUTELY USELESS SYSTEM

In response to a call from a telemarketer I agreed to upgrade my adsl speed and sign a 24 month contract to get a free modem. She said I would be contacted to fetch the modem and sign the contract - but I was charged for this service from the date of the call - despite still not having signed or received the modem.

When I tried to speak to the Telkom accounts dept to credit me for the additional charges - I spent ONE HOUR on the phone - because you cant lodge a query and be called back after it has been investigated - because they CANNOT CALL OUT!!! So I had to waste ONE HOUR whilst my query was investigated! This is the most uselesss system I have ever encountered, and whoever instituted it should be fired for incompetence - but only after they have wasted a day trying to lodge a query with Telkom.

I STILL havent been able to lodge a complaint/query with the telemarketing dept - because I dont have any more time to waste.

Why cant I just lodge a complaint/query - and then go back to work whilst it is being investigated and then be contacted with the result???

TELKOMS SYSTEM IS USELESS, UN-PRODUCTIVE, UN-USER FRIENDLY, AND A TOTAL WASTE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS TIME!
