STRUGGLING TO CANCEL CONTRACT

I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF AUTOPAGE FOR MANY YEARS. I RECENTLY REQUESTED THAT MY CONTRACT BE CANCELLED, AND THAT MY NUMBER BE TRANSFERRED TO PREPAID. MY FIRST PHONE CALL TO THE CALL CENTRE WAS ON 26 MARCH, I WAS PROMISED A TRANSFER ON THE 14TH APRIL, NEEDLESS TO SAY, THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED, THIS I REALIZED AFTER MY NEW MONTHS' DATA WAS LOADED ON MY PHONE. I PHONED ON THE 16TH APRIL TO FOLLOW UP, AFTER WHICH I WAS INFORMED, THERE WAS A SYSTEM ERROR, AND THE TRANSFER WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE 19TH. AND EVEN THOUGH MY CONVERSATIONS ARE BEING RECORDED, THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF MY CALL ON THE 26TH MARCH. AFTER PHONING AGAIN ON THE 17TH APRIL, I WAS INFORMED MY TRANSFER WILL ONLY TAKE PLACE ON THE 14TH MAY! WHY MUST I BE INCONVENIENCED DUE TO A SYSTEM ERROR? SURELY THERE SHOULD BE A CONTINGENCY PLAN IN PLACE? I WANT TO PORT MY NUMBER TO ANOTHER NETWORK - AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TILL AUTOPAGE DECIDES THEY HAVE THE TIME AND THEY FEEL LIKE ASSISTING ME. THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE! I'M JUST SORRY THAT I DIDN'T CANCEL MY CONTRACT SOONER - ALTHOUGH, WITH THE LACK OF SERVICE GOING ON, I MIGHT STILL BE ON THEIR NETWORK, SINCE NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO CANCEL A CONTRACT SUCCESSFULLY!
