Contract cancelled on wrong date - Lost Business!

At the end of Feb I called Autopage call centre to give 1months notice to cancel my cell contract, and to ask for my number to be converted to Pay-as-you-go so that MTN could port my number for my new contract. I spoke to a lady named Gerney. She advised me that my cell contract would expire on 14th March and would automatically be converted to Pay-as-you-go. Today (14th) I woke up to find my cell has error msg: 'SIM not provisioned:2'. So I call Autopage customer care again and spoke to Happiness who told me that Gerney had cancelled my contract incorrectly and that she'd have to log a call with the I.T. dept to try and rectify the problem and convert my number to pay-as-you-go -this will take 24hours! After the problem is fixed, only then can MTN port my number which will also take 24hours. So Gerney, the customer care agent, has cost me 48hours without my business phone which means Im loosing THOUSANDS OF RANDS IN BUSINESS because none of my clients can get hold of me!!! Im BEYOND LIVID!!! And there is absolutely no sense of urgency on Autopage's side to sort this out! I was told at 09h16 that a manager, Angelo, would call me immediately and its 10am now and still no call!!!
