Impossible to cancel an expired contract

Followed procedure sent cancellation letter in march to cancel contract as of 1 April - contract and sim still active.
Phoned call center number of times and sent on the runaround to solve the issue.
Cant even use the myaccounts to cancell the contract.
I cant understand why it is so difficult to have an expired contract with autopage cancelled.
