I'm paying for a service I can't use

I have a data contract with vodacom for a year now and for the greater part of that year I have not been able to use it because of poor signal in my area. When I took out the contract the signal was tested in my area and it was good, i had no issues connecting to the internet. Since Nov Dec last year, connecting to the internet became such a mission and since the beginning of this year it's become close to impossible.

I have to leave my house and go 2 streets down just to download my emails.

I called the call centre in Mar and was given a reference number: S3-SHE9R-R6RS
A lady named Faye told me that there was a problem in the area and that 2 new sites or base stations are planned for the area. One site was awaiting transmission from Telkom and that it could take 3 - 6 months for that to happen. When I told her that it means I will have to pay for that long for a service I am not able to use, she told me to just cancel it then... WHAT??? cancelling would mean me paying a cancellation fee when it's not even my fault!

My complaint is much longer than this because I also went to one of your stores for help but no luck there either! No characters left to type that out. Help
