More than a year has passed since Vodacom promised to fix the signal problem in our area. I was told that the tower needs upgrading and many other excuses. The problem got worse and worse. I have stopped calling the customer care line because they NEVER call back and they refuse to give me a reference number for the calls so I do not have any proof of the complaint and the people answering my calls are incompetent. Last complaint I was told that they do not have reference numbers for THIS type of problem. Phones show "SOS" the entire day and directly "3G" the moment you touch it and there are no internet on the data modems, ESPECIALLY late afternoons when children need to do homework. We CANNOT use the data or phones for anything work related because the signal is UNRELIABLE. Under the Consumer Protection Act I believe that this counts as breach of contract on their side. No more excuses! Vodacom's upgrades and area problems are their problem. NOT THE CONSUMER'S! I want the data contracts cancelled and refunded for the entire time they made empty promises. No more " we will look into the problem and give feedback", because they don't! THANK YOU!!
