30 Days Notice not in contract

I never signed any contract with Telkom and therefore according to their terms and conditions of use I do not have to give 30 days notive when I cancel my service.
They have however forced me to give 30 days notice and I was billed for that whole 30 days.
I have escalated this matter but have received no feedback.
I am going to refer this matter to the consumer commission if Telkom doesn't contact me with feedback so that we may discuss this matter.
