I had a contract with Telkom Mobile and the 2 year term was coming to an end in November 2013. I was advised that the contract will not automatically terminate but will continue on a month to month basis. If I want to terminate the contract I will need to Give 30 days notice, which I did on 13/10/2013. On 16/10/2013 my phone was disconnected after just 3 days of the notice being given. I requested that the line be re-instated and all benefits given back to me as this is not what I requested. This was done and I was advised that the line was re-instated. I now receive bills on which I am charged for all the sms messages that I send out which was not the case on my original contract. I used to pay for he first 5 per day and get the next 50 free for that day. Telkom Mobile will not rectify this and say that when they re-instated the contract it was a new deal that was done and this is not the case as I did not sign a new deal or agree to any changes in the original terms and conditions. I have logged multiple queries with them but receive poor and rude service or no service at all. I have logged cases, to which I am still awaiting callbacks.
