Vodacom
Change of Ownership

Telecommunications

My father passed away 3 week ago and I went with my mother to do a change of ownership. The lady who helped us did not wear a name tag and she said that we need to supply 3 months bank statements for a R150 Internet cap which I think is ridiculous. But what bothers me the most is that no one has contacted my mother to say that the change of ownership have been approved. It does not matter if it is a small or a big contract everyone should be treated with the same respect. That R150 is a R150 which Vodacom would not have had, maybe they have enough clients. I am also a Vodacom client and maybe I should also change from provider when I upgraded. PS and the lady who helped us said that even if we cancel the contract my mother would be held responsible for payment of the remainder of the contract.
