I'd like to report the putrid service I have received from MTN Richards Bay boardwalk, I went into MTN Richards Bay Boarwalk in January 2013 to get an iPhone5 on a contract. I asked the lady behind the desk if I can't get the phone on a topup contract and she said no, only an open contract which entails R200 airtime, 25 free sms's and 250MB of data. I decided to take that contract which at the time, I thought it was very good service. My first month came and I didn't receive all my allocated airtime, it was only a little bit short but just on principle I'd like to get what I am paying for, I went into another MTN shop in Richards Bay and I asked out of curiosity if I can get the same phone on a topup package and they said yes I only had to pay a little bit more and i would of gotten exactly what I wanted. I then phoned Richards Bay Boardwalk MTN and then the same lady to me again and I asked her to sort out my airtime situation and she promised to get back to me, I am still waiting 1 week on for the help.
