I took out an 8ta data contract via Telkom Direct, Main Street, Jhb CBD. The saleperson filled in the contract incorrectly on my behalf without my consent. This contract was then cancelled and I signed a new contract.
On the first month I was billed for R1611 when it was supposed to be R411.
From the 23 February 2013, this matter has not yet been resolved. I have been given the runaround. Telkom Direct Main St, Jhb CBD apparently only sells contracts but has no facility to check accounts. I was told to go to an 8ta store. In Clearwater Mall I was told to call customer care as they could not help. I have called 081 180 on numerous occasions and a case was logged. Now I am told it is with the billing dept. Difficult to get hold of billing dept. Being sent from pillar to post to get my money. Extremely disappointed with 8ta service.
There is no physical place one can go to to get help.
