In Feb 2013 I took out a contract - fixed line 10 GIG per month @ R 500.00. I was told that I have access to 10 GIG per month data usage included, and that the 10 GIG was all access to the internet on the agreed contract!!! I was never told, as the NCA dictates, that the data was not capped. On 28th March I received an account for R 2544.45 of which R 1530.68 was 'out of bundle" data usage!!!

I went to Gloria at Telkom Direct in the Festival Mall. She was very helpfull and agrred with me. After consultation with ALL staff members in her office, everyone confirmed that they were told that it is a "capped" service that they are selling. She then called another office handling this type op contracts and a very rude reperesentative told me that it is and was not capped. I also dispute the 10 GIG used.

My problem is that I was never told about the non capped facility and therefore dispute the account. I took out this contract specifically for my child who is unempoyed and that was the main reason for the 10 GIG which I was told that was the only access to the internet - I understood that as a capped facility!!!
