Telkom is totally inept at any level of service assistance.
Wednesday 10/04. Cresta 8ta/Telkom branch. Bought a dongle and SIM card. Service ok despite the "systems being offline in the whole country" and they could not RICA my SIM card. They took a copy of my details and promised to call later in the day when they cold RICA my details. Thursday close of business I have had no phone call, have tried all day to call the following branches: Cresta, Clearwater, Rosebank, Sandton, Northgate, Greeenstone (only a fax number advertised) Nicolway. Not one shop answers phones to help customers. How can a telecommunications company NOT answer phones or have misleading numbers? This is a shocker!
Worst part is the online chat to an agent is even more useless who can't offer any more details than a fool can look up on the website, takes forever to reply to a questions and cuts conversations off and logs out midway in a chat.

8ta, you are useless at keeping your customers happy. Answer your phones, reply to queries. We are desperate for better telecoms in SA and you have the potential. Just get the basics right!
