MTN Store employs MUPPETS!!!

I went through to MTN Store U218a at Cresta shopping Centre on Saturday to RICA a Pay as you Go Sim Card for my 11 year old daughter. My ID book was months ago, and with the service at Home Affairs, I'm actually apprehensive to apply for a new one.

Nevertheless, I take along my drivers license and proof of residence to the store to RICA the SIm Card. Please explain to me why an MTN Store employee couldn't tell me why I can't use my drivers license to RICA a "pay as you go" Sim Card, when I'm already a MTN contract holder and you have my ID number, a copy of my ID document, residential details, bank account details, cell phone number, etc, etc... why do I still need my ID book to register a Sim Card???

All I got was from the woman an uneducated and reply, which was to read the instruction on the Sim Card package and I needed my ID book.

Shocking how incompetent and pathetic the service in this country is.
