SUPER SLOW 3G UNCAPPED DONGLE!!!

Few months ago i signed a contract with mtn for a 3g dongle, uncapped internet for R299 a month.

In the beginning the speeds were acceptable even after i have reached my fair usage data speeds, but recently, namely this month i have not even received my 3 gigs of fair usage and my internet speeds have been terribly slow and my internet keeps disconnecting.
It is not a software problem on my pc as i have not changed any settings since i first got the dongle.

This is very frustrating as i have to reconnect my internet every ten minutes and wait for ages for a page to load.

Please assist.
