8ta Preventing Their Own Sales!!

On 06/04/13 i went to the 8ta/Telkom store in Rosebank Mall to take out the Blackberry Z10 on contract. i initially wanted to take it on the Smart Contract deal but i was told this had ended on 31st March and replaced with a new deal called the Smart Plan. After completing all of the necessary paperwork and passing the credit checks, it was then only that i was informed that i could take out the contract yet coz the new deal was not yet loaded on the system. I was also informed that this is an issue for most Smart Plan deals for other devices as well and is also an issue at other 8ta/Telkom stores. I waited three days and the deal is still not loaded. This is utter incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction! Firstly, there should not even be such system issues in the first place, these deals should have been loaded days before they were to be introduced! As a result of this, people cannot take up contracts on these deals and have to wait an indefinite amount of time which is ridiculous! I still don't know when this will be sorted out. Secondly, there should be a backup plan to still give out the contracts to customers while these issues are sorted out!!
