Telkom Awesome Deals Are a

I registered for Telkom awesome deal R169 in December and i confirmed that the deal wasn't a contract as i don't like contracts. I never at any stage gave them my banking details and having been paying by Cash.
Today i tried to cancel my adsl with Telkom as i got a better deal elsewhere and the consultant who called me said i had signed a 36month contract. I never at any stage agreed to a contract let alone a 36month contract for 5gig a month. How can it be a contract when you dont have my bank details. Am not impressed

STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM DEALS AS THEY ARE VERY DUBIOUS, MISLEADING AND ALWAYS HAVE A CATCH.
