On the 07-01-12 I intructed a consultant (Elizabeth) to cancel my contract&not to proceed after the 2year term ended. She replied: "Sir, I will log it on the system and it will be cancelled". I asked her 2-3 times if I had to do anything more to make sure the contract will not be extended&she replied every time: "No sir, it will be cancelled, that is all you need to do". February I received a sms that my account was in arrears. I tested the sim card in question&found it still active. I immediately informed Elizabeth. Since then I have phoned the branch between 8-10 times and have gone there in person 5-8 times speaking to Elizabeth and the Manager (Mimmie)&every time I'm told that the query was resolved. Every time I ask for them to send me a email conformation and proof that my contract has been cancelled, but no email yet! A sms bundle that I had on my remaining contract which I cancelled more then 2 months ago, is also still active! I will make it my mission to take this to the highest level. I am going to lodge a complaint with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman and the National Consumer Commission. I also have an appointment with my legal council. I am another Autopage victim!
