The contract I am using is in my mother's name. I tried to do a transfer at the Summerstrand branch in Feb 2011 and it was not done. I again tried to do a transfer at the Cape Road branch Feb/March 2013 and that was not done either. Since nobody seems reluctant to do the transfers my mother has gone to the Grahamstown branch where the contract was taken out to cancel it and make the number Pay as You Go in order for me to take out a new contract with that number. She has been to that branch three times and they keep on telling her that the contract is cancelled and that MTN is going to call her with regards to this. I went with her on the 29th of June 2013 and they told me that it is definitely cancelled and that I would be on Pay as You Go by Monday the 1st of July 2013. It is now Tuesday the 2nd of July and I have called the Grahamstown branch four times to only get told that it should have been cancelled and I was given a reference code 675539. That does not help me. How many more times must my mother go to the branch and how many more times must I call before this gets resolved? I don't know what to do anymore. If transfers and cancellations don't work then what will?
