I have had terrible service from Vodacom and should never have upgraded my contract with them. Since upgrading my contract at the beginning of the year the staff were unable to advise on packages on offer. I complained to the manager at the waterfront branch at the time. Now on realizing the package offered to me is not appropriate for my needs I called the call centre on 30 March to request a migration to a package more suitable to my needs, needless to mention that the migration fee is over R3000! I actually dealt with THE most helpful consultant I have ever dealt with at Vodacom, but sadly what she offered was incorrect, which I found out when checking my balances when the migration went through today. I called Vodacom back this evening to enquire why my minute and SMS bundles weren't activated, only to be told that the package I had chosen did not offer that! I told them to listen to the conversation I had with Wendy confirming everything on 30 march. They did, simply apologised and asked what package I would like to change to. I dealt with Lizzy Loan who proceeded to give me conflicting information at every turn! What they are doing is illegal! I await a call from management.
