MTN Data Bundle not delivered

I bought a 24 hour data bundle on the 29th of March 2013 using loyalty points. Received an SMS on the day confirming the purchase. I tried to activate it without success!
On the 30th of March I received the following SMS:
"Y'ello, you've successfully loaded a MTN Broadband Unlimited 1Day bolt on data bundle. Please activate before 20130627 by dialling *141*6*5*3#."

I tried to activate it, and got the response that no bundle was loaded.

At 7.09pm on the same day (30 March) I received the following SMS:
"Y'ello, your MTN Broadband Unlimited 1Day bolt on data bundle was successfully removed. "

Now how does that work??? Now you see it, now you don't! What makes it worse is that the loyalty points are also gone and I didn't even get to use the data. The thought of calling 808 is depressing... I am not in the mood for the usual shoddy customer service on the phone. MTN just renders me numb!

There is no diplomatic way to put it... Am thoroughly tired of MTN!!! Thoroughly!!!
