On 01-06-2013 I phoned the call centre to load a 1 day unlimited bundle for the first time. I asked the call centre agent how the bundle works. He told me that is valid for 24 hours. So I asked him to load the bundle. He confirmed, as with all other bolt on data bundles, that he has loaded the bundle and that I will get a confirmation sms. I received the sms on my phone. I then removed my sim card and placed it in my dongle, and started to update my pc, games, and streaming content. The next day I looked at the confirmation sms to see what time the bundle was loaded. Then I only realised that I had to activate it all along. My bill for this month is almost R5000, compared to the usual R200-R300. I contacted Mpho on Sunday at 10:20 and then Gerald phoned me on the Monday at 09:30. Later the week a man phoned me from Johannesburg. I explained that the call centre agent could clearly hear that I did not know how the bundle works. He could have told me. Why do you have to activate this bundle but not all the other mtn bundles. There are numerous complaints about this, yet they do nothing about this money making scheme. Is it legal for me to post about this on every site I can think of
