I had a bad connection problem with my Afrihost account. The speed was dropping to almost zero after a few minutes or just disconnect. I reported the problem online. I switch to a Axxesslite backup account, and had no connection problem while I was waiting more that 5 hours for Afrihost to respond. When they eventually responded (the next day), they have upgraded my 1M line to a, wait for it, a 1M line and charged me R80.65 (22 March 2013) for that "no action". I have requested them to refund me (25 March 2013) and, well, no response. They just continue to charge me the same invoice as the previous month, that will deduct on 1 April 2013. I will close my account with them, tomorrow (31 March 2013)!! I have had it with Afrihost.
