What a nice bunch of people, yet we feel as if we have been done for. We wanted to upgrade to a 10mbps line as we got an email from AFRIHOST that stated that Telkom upgraded the lines and we could therefore keep our package and have a discount or upgrade to a faster internet speed. We went for the faster internet package, but still experienced the exact same speed as the old package. AFRIHOST did not wait to deduct the money, yet same speed, more expensive package deal.

We phoned several times and eventually were told that our line cannot handle the faster speed. Therefore we tried to change to another package that would give us better benefit. This did not help either. I requested that it being sorted out and were surprised that apparently credit has been passed and I also received a invoice for R200 for the next month reflecting the credit. I was pleased. The duration of that feeling didn't last long when AFRIHOST deducted R1196 from my account instead of the R200 as reflected on the invoice.

This caused embarrassment as some of my debit orders bounced and my name is dishonored at the bank and with the companies that I had to explain why the money wasn't paid.
I'm dissapointed
