There is currently a Vodacom promo that allows new customers to buy data bundles at an insanely reduced price compared to existing customers. The simple example i can use is that Vodacom customers can purchase a month - to - month 1Gig data bundle @ R249.00 where new customers are offered 1Gig data bundle on contract @ R99.00. I get the business logic behind this. Vodacom simply wants to attract new customers and keep up with the competition. So what about existing customers? Ive been with Vodacom for roughly 13 years. Spending between R36000 - R60 000 a year on Vodacom bills. Yet this offer is only available to new customers? Time and time again, Vodacom has taught us that loyalty means nothing to them.

Yes you have a summer promotion that takes the existing 1 Gig @ R249 down to the price of R149, Point is The "new customers" are offered a 2 Gig contract at R149.00. It never seems to end with Vodacom. So yes, Since i am so unhappy, i will do as a Vodacom consultant suggested. I will close the 5 contracts I have with you and move to where I can get my monies worth. Unlimited data being throttled is better than being blatantly ripped off
