Unable to change debit order date?

If your considering taking out a cellular contract with MTN think twice! They are so stupid that after 5 months of going into 3 different stores (Stellenbosch Square, Stellenbosch Eikestad Mall, Somerset Mall) they aren't able to change the date of a debit order, even after acknowledging that all the paper work is in place. This means that for 5 months, I've been paying extra for the debit order being returned unpaid and the amount for the contract! I've been promised 5 times by MTN staff that this issue will be resolved with the next debit batch, but this never happens. If I refuse to pay because of there incompetence, I will be blacklisted. If there is anyway for me to get out of this contract legally please advice me, as I've had it with MTN and am receiving better service from Vodacom and Virgin, who I also make use of and want to move away from MTN.
