Refund on Double Debit

I recently changed jobs and asked Matrix to change my debit order to the last day of the month temporarily. They tried to debit anyway on the 25th and it was returned unpaid. They then debited on the 1st to make up for the unpaid debit but they double debited. I called this morning to request a debit order date change in line with my new employer's salary date - the 27th. I want the extra debit for June returned. I asked someone to send me a statement explaining their actions but this did not happen.
