Being Rippped off

I took out a contract a couple of months ago a top up 500meg, i got a statement of my account and is R2900. i called vodacom service centre and they advised that it is an open contract, i have the contract that i signed and it clearly states that it is a topup contract, they are going to debit my account today with R2900 and nobody can help me... i will be taking this up with my lawyer as i have a contract that clearly states it is a topup.
