Unfair Vodacon cancellations fees

Dear Consumer Commission,
Re: Official Complaint against Vodacom SA
Recently I informed Vodacom SA of my intention to cancel my two contracts with them and keep my current numbers. They emailed me the attached quotations regarding the cancelations.
As you will see, the amount are absurd! I have one account with Vodacom and two numbers/agreements.
I also attached the Consumer Protection Act. The way I understand the act ;
o I have to offer Vodacom 20 working days written notice
o Pay the outstanding balance of my account for call made/data used exec.
o Pay any amount owing on the handset.
What Vodacom is doing now, they quote me for cancellation the monthly subscription for the remainder of the agreement. I feel they unfairly charge me the monthly subscription as I will get nothing in return.(airtime/data)
That means if I give notice regarding my house lease agreement, and there is a year left on the agreement, I have to pay the rent in advance for the balance of the agreement and pay rent at the new premises.
I am more than willing to pay the balance on the handsets and my outstanding calls / data.
Is it necessary to contact the media in this regard? As I feel this is
