I HAVE 2 BOYS AND FOR ME IT IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THEM TO HAVE THE FULL BBM SUBSCRIPTION AND WHEN I NOTED THAT MTN HAS AN OPTION FOR ONLY BB SOCIAL SERVICE, I FELT THAT THE BETTER OPTION FOR THEM TO BE ABLE TO BBM FAMILY AND US WHEN WE ARE NOT HOME.
SINCE 20 MARCH BOTH OF THEM WERE UNABLE TO USE THE BBM CHAT, ON FRIDAY 22 MARCH I CONTACTED CUSTOMER CARE, WERE TOLD IT IS NETWORK RELATED AND WILL BE SORTED. TODAY I PHONED AGAIN, THIS TIME ROUND WAS TOLD THAT THE SPECIFIED SERVICE RUNS ON DATA AND APPARENTLY WITH THE ABOVE OPTION YOU ARE GIVEN 10MB TO USE AND NO IT'S DEPLETED THEREFOR THEY'RE PHONES WON'T WORK TO CHAT ON BBM. THE PREVIOUS MONTH WE STARTED USING THIS OPTION AND THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS AND THE BOYS USED THEIR PHONES AS USUAL TILL LAST WEEK AND NOW THIS PROBLEM.
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, WE PAID TO BE ABLE TO USE THE BB SOCIAL SERVICE, IT IS NOT BROUGHT UNDER YOUR ATTENTION VIA SMS OR WHAT EVER THAT THIS SERVICE RUNS ON 10MB. TO PAY R20 OF 10MB IS IN FACT REDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. ARE WE NO FORCED TO MOVE TO ANOTHER SERVICED PROVIDER?
