Unauthorised Number Change

Having returned hime from a short holiday, I've found that my ADSL no longer works. I've tried everything and confirmed hat ADSL is o longer available. I then placed a call to call centre to log a fault and the automated voice confirmed there was indeed a fault and automatically logged a report. But here's the shocking thing, my number has been changed!! I learned of this when the automated voice read the number, 0312085128, for which the fault was logged. I thereafter dialed my home number and the phone did not ring. When I dialed the number I had noted during the fault report, it did ring. At this point I am rather annoyed that this has happened! I would like mu line to be restored to the correct number immediately and all services be restored as before this confusion/mix up. I expect a call confirming that this issue has been resolved with a full explanation.
