Cell c selling number?

I got my new number from cell c last week and i have not given my number to anyone except a few friends, the reason for changing? i was sick of getting cold calls from people trying to sell me all day. Now with my new number I am receiving at least two calls a day from these cold callers!!! its driving me MAD! I am paying cell c for their service, and how do they repay me? they give my number to every telemarketer in the country!
Please take me off your database, I NEVER agreed to any "information regarding additional services" (as they so eloquently put it).
