Cell C
Unsolicited cold calling

I have been getting unsolicited phone calls from Cell C. This is a private telephone number. I have NEVER given permission to any company to give out my mobile phone details to other companies. I have never had any dealings with Cell C. The person calling me told me they got my number from the National consumer databases. I have opted out of this database, so this is very strange, but in any case, their having or giving out my number cannot be legal as I have not given anyone permission to put my number there in the first place.
