Wrongful premature cancellation fee -vodacom

I cancelled my previous contract (weekend everyday) prematurely which was under my fathers name. We paid the premature cancellation fee and I signed up a new contract (iphone talk 120s) under the same number (0828285099) under my name and account details. A week later my phone was soft locked because I owed 9 000 odd rand on my account for premature cancellation. After fighting with vodacom for weeks, Lebo (vodacom) called me on 18 Feb to say they made a mistake and prematurely cancelled my new contract and thats why my account has been debited with so much money. She said the finance dept would credit my account because of their mistake and compensate me for blocking my phone for a week. They unblocked my phone and now, a month later, the problem has still not be resolved. Vodacom keeps sending me messages to pay the R9000 and I refuse to do so as it was not my mistake. My credit request is still pending. I do not understand how it can take so long to sort out a simple mistake. I keep threatening vodacom that I will cancel my contract and return the device if this is not sorted out immediately, but no one seems to care.
