I'd like to voice my frustration over my experience with Cell C, it has been by far the worst service I have experienced with any network provider or service provider for that matter. I took out a 24 month contract in November 2010, I continued to pay as per my contractual obligation. When the 24 month period lapsed I made numerous attempts to contact their cancellations department and sent mails to their customer services email address which promises a 24 -48 hour turn around time. I managed to put through my cancellation in Jan 2013 and in Feb they debited my account once again, I sent a mail again and with the cancellation letter asking for an urgent reponse - this was over two weeks ago, today they have called me at work demanding payment with no response to my repeated queries on the account - I realized that there is no point in arguing with a company of this nature and requested the invoice immediately I then had to remind them to take down the email address to which to send it to! I am horrified at the level of service received and will not recommend Cell C to anyone else. They pale in comparison to my experiences with both MTN and Vodacom and I will not be using them again.
