On the 27th of March I accidently uploaded a 1 gig MTN Data bundle to the wrong cellphone number (0604845654 instead of 51 at the end), I called MTN and I spoke to Thembisa Majokweni, whom advise me that they will need a proof of purchase. While on the line with her I've e-mailed it through to her, and she also confirmed receipt of it, she hand it to her manager to get authorization. Thembisa confirmed with me that it can take 30 minutes to an hour for the bundle to reflect on my side. Up to today I haven't received anything as yet, Thembisa replied on one of my 4 e-mails I've sent through, by saying that her supervisor is waiting for feedback. I'm a manager in a contact centre and the basic rules of a contact centre is to keep the customer informed at all times ; to give the client true and accurate information. This is also the reason why the clients have to hold the line for 10-15 min before reaching a consultant. If MTN's service is up to standard they will immediately see a drastic change in the call volumes. I also have the recording of our conversation, I assume this Hello Peter complaint will get the necessary attention all of the sudden.
