I wouldn't be surprised if Telkom went out of business. I started calling Telkom today from 0830 am to get a balance on my data. Needless to say its 1027am I am still unable to get through. I called a number they supplied on their website 012 311 3911 a gentleman by the name Deon answered the phone and he transferred me, after ten minutes of holding the line a consultant answered and he took my details, he then told me to hold and I got cut off. He didn't bother calling me back yet he had my contact information. I called again and Deon answered, transferred me, again cut off. The worst part about this experience is that I wanted to know if I can check my balances on-line, I still don't have that answer. I went to their website and used their sales tool, I got a call back within 30 seconds of clicking the send button. I was transferred to a lady named Ronel, she transferred me again and when I got to the internet department I was cut off. Didn't get a call back yet I gave them my contact details for the second time. I honestly hope we as consumers stop supporting Telkom until they raise their standards specifically on customer services.
