I recently had my telkom ADSL line installed at home on the 4th December 2012 after a great deal of frustration regarding bad service from the technician involved which resulted in me going to Hello Peter only to have excellent service in getting the matter resolved by the regional head of installations. I was happy. However, I am now in a situation where I have been in a dispute over billing as I signed up with Telkom due to a promo I'd heard about where I'd get the first three months of data free together with my free installation. I got the installation "free" after being billed and then having it reversed but I've had to fork out R1896 two weeks ago to get my line reconnected after it was disconnected for "failure to pay". I have argued this point and recieved credits on my account for various things but not for the 3 months data I've had to pay for. This is unacceptable. If I'd known I'd be having this many issues with Telkom, I'd have gone with Mweb. I demand a refund of this data cost or a credit on my account which is now paid up in full. My number is 0116792178.
