TELKOM-FALSE ADVERTISING JUST TO WIN OVER CUSTOMER

I recently applied for a telkom adsl line. The consultant advised me that the installation is free with a modem and ONE JACK INSTALLATION. I bought a new house and moved in 1st September. Telkom came to do the installation on the 2nd of September. The technician asked me where i would like everything to be set up and i advised him in the office. The modem adsl and jack was installed in the office. Later we found that the previous owner had a jack in the kitchen on the floor. (this has nothing to do with me or with the new contract i took out with telkom). Upon receiving my first statement i seen that i was charged R400 for a Jack. I immediately called telkom credit office and i was rudely told that they don't care if there was a line that wasn't mine and that i will be billed as it is another jack installed. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. From the front line to the back line customer care of telkom is pathetic. If this can not be sorted out i want this line removed immediately and my account cancelled.!!
