I signed an mtn data contract over a year ago. I was told by the salesman that if my data were to run out, I could purchase airtime and convert it to data, and carry on. Now today after I purchased R280 airtime in order to buy 1gig of data, I receive the response "service only available to top up customers". I called the helpline, who told me I am unable to top up, and then "put me through to their supervisor", which I'm guessing meant they put me on hold, because after ten minutes of waiting, no supervisor handled my call. Disgraceful.
