Cancellation of contract

My Vodacom contract expires soon, and I do not want do renew it. Therefore I want to cancel it.

Vodacom told me to phone the cancellation service @ 082 1958.

This is the correct contact number, but after 7 calls, I am yet to have spoken to a consultant.

Every time I phone I am told that I will be on hold until a consultant is available. Then I am made to listen to Gangnam Style or Super Gees by Robbie Wessels. On repeat.
