I was told when I took a contract out with Vodacom that if I needed to cancel I would have to pay a small cancellation fee and the value of the phone. I have been quoted 75% of the remaining contract, which according to numerous articles online and my understanding is in breach of the consumer act. I'm prepared to pay for the phone and pay a reasonable cancellation fee, but I can't get hold of anyone at Vodacom who is prepared to help me. Vodacom have been nothing but unhelpful and unfriendly.
